Tells us about the difficulties of growing up
A little lion feels misunderstood by his family and flees to find a place
where he can feel more at home. On his way he meets other animals
like elephants, antelopes and a hyena.
He joins the group always hoping to find a place among them, where
he can feel more at home. Finally he notices that wherever he stays he
will still be what he is: a lion. In the end he is very glad about this.
In 1986 I wrote this little story for my three children – and made a book of it.
The text painted by me with ink, the pictures were painted with water colours.
